Always a great experience. Food was delicious and service was top notch. We love the remodel upstairs. We'll definitely be back for some burgers, drinks and good company.

Very good hamburgers and T-bone steak. The waitress was very knowledgeable and very attentive serving us. We will definitely go back next time we’re in Zihua.

We were looking for a place to watch the leafs and it was suggested to try the captain's daughters bar. We weren't disappointed. The place was filled with Canadians. It has lots of character. The staff speak english and are very nice. When we asked them to put the leafs game on they were very accommodating. The food is very authentic bar food. Hamburgers fries chicken wings are delicious. I would highly recommend it.

We had the most delicious Chili Fries. It’s award winning Chili and it was so good! We also had the wings...they were cooked perfectly but a wee bit tiny. We did enjoy them. Tanya and her brother were so gracious and welcoming! And Curling...The Scottie’s was on. It’s a great stop...the menu looked really good!

We went for the first time last night - on a recommendation - for the best hamburgers in town. We were not disappointed. Big cheeseburgers served hot along with hot and tasty fries. We sat at a table upstairs with a nice view of the streets and Zihua's south hillside neighborhood lights. Definitely will return. Very good!

Great spot centrally located for a quick bite. Service was fast, they turned on the ceiling fans for us, and spoke English. Can’t go wrong with a classic cheeseburger here! Well done! Love the remodel of the space with views of the street and artwork of surrounding area. Would recommend for family and friends!

We've been coming to Zihua for several years (family from MN & TX), and La Hija del Capitan and the Fishin Hole are two of our favorite hang out spots. We've become "regulars" and always enjoy our time at both places. Tanya, Danny, Kenny, Felipe, Lalo, Max, Clemente & all others (unsure of the spelling for their names) always welcome us and make us feel great and part of the family. The menu is mostly typical bar food, but everything we've tried has been delicious (we've had wings, ribs, roast beef sandwiches, hamburgers, fries, potato wedges, and many others). The beers are always very cold, and the drinks are well made. Stop by their gift shop next door for some cool (and popular) t-shirts, koozies, and other items. And don't forget to check out the fun Thursday bingo at the Fishin' Hole Too (upstairs).

2 places in one! Street Level is bar, great for watching the games. Upstairs has a restaurant. I always order food while watching the games. Get there early if you want a seat. Onion Rings like mini donuts Great Veg. fajita ...
